Individual References: If you want to include specific references, hold down the Ctrl (Windows) or Command (Mac) key and click on each item in your Zotero library.
Entire Collection or Folder: If you want to include everything in a collection, click on the collection name to select it.
Generate the Bibliography:
Right-Click Method:
Right-click on any of the selected items (or the collection).
Select “Create Bibliography from Items” from the context menu.
Menu Method:
Go to the menu bar and click on File.
Choose “Export Item” or “Export Collection,” depending on your selection.
Choose Citation Style:
In the dialog that appears, select the citation style you want to use (e.g., APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.) from the dropdown menu.
You can also choose to include annotations if desired.
Output Format:
Select the output format for your bibliography. Options typically include:
Copy to Clipboard: This copies the bibliography to your clipboard, allowing you to paste it directly into your document.
Save as RTF/HTML/TXT: You can save the bibliography as a file on your computer for later use.
Create the Bibliography:
Click “OK” to generate the bibliography.
If you chose to copy it, you can now paste it into your document (using Ctrl+V or Command+V)
