Installing Zotero Desktop on Windows

1. Download the Installer:

   • Click on "Download" under Zotero for Windows.

2. Run the Installer:

   • Locate the downloaded file, typically named Zotero-Setup-6.0.x.exe (where x is the version number).
   • Double-click the installer to run it.

3. Follow the Installation Wizard:

   • If prompted by User Account Control, click "Yes" to allow changes.
   • Accept the license agreement and follow the on-screen instructions.
   • Choose the installation location or use the default setting.
   • Click "Install" to begin the installation.

4. Complete Installation:

   • Once the installation is complete, click "Finish".
   • Zotero should now be installed on your computer.

5. Launch Zotero:

   • You can start Zotero from the Start menu or desktop shortcut.
