The JKM Library supports Chatham faculty, staff and students at the Shadyside, Eastside and Eden Hall locations by providing physical and electronic resources.
Current students, faculty, and staff can use the physical collection of books and media and borrow material with their Chatham ID. All physical items are subject to the JKM Library's Borrowing Policies.
Interlibrary loan services are available for resources not available in the library’s print and electronic collections.
The Chatham community also has access on site and remotely to the library’s subscription databases through their Chatham account credentials. The library uses Open Athens, a secure access management platform to link library resources to Chatham accounts. When accessing a library database, Open Athens establishes a secure connection between the Chatham account and the database. Authentication is Single Sign-On (SSO), which reduces the amount of logging in across resources.
Chatham account creation is administered by Chatham ITS, and any questions regarding accounts must be directed to ITS.
