Formulating your question:
Having a focused question, like a PICO question, is a useful first step in searching for available literature for your topic. Note that entering a literal question into a database will yield too many results or no results at all, so breaking down a PICO question is useful.
Use the P and the I components of your question to keep your search results broader.
Example:
Does constraint-induced movement therapy improve upper extremity functional performance in people with CVAs ?
P= cerebrovascular accident
I = constraint induced movement therapy
An initial search using these two concepts could look like this:
paresis AND constraint induced movement therapy
