Absentee voting is when you mail your vote in rather than submitting your vote in person. The requirements that make you eligible for absentee voting varies by state, but there are resources for you to find if an absentee ballot applies to you.
In Pennsylvania, voters must have a reason for using an absentee ballot. This includes voters who are living away from home while attending university. Deadline to apply for an absentee ballot for the 2018 general election is Tuesday, October 30, 2018.
