Using Filters
Even with focused search terms, you'll often find that you need to narrow your result list even more. Databases offer filters (sometimes called limiters) that allow you to focus your search by date range, specific type of article, full text availability, and more.
There are a few different ways to employ filters:
- Apply filters to your search at the outset, and edit as needed.
- Perform an initial search, view results, then apply.
