Finding Help
This is just the beginning of learning how to use the variety of resources available to you. As you progress through your studies at Chatham, you will be expected to become proficient in finding and using information resources relevant to your courses of study. If this sounds intimidating, don't worry! The Librarians at the Jennie King Mellon Library are here to help you. There are several ways to contact us:
- Reference Desk -
A librarian is at the reference desk every hour the library is open. The desk is easy to find, it is directly in front of the library entrance and says "Reference".
- Appointment -
As first years you received a letter from your personal librarian, and you will be periodically receiving e-mails from them throughout the semester. Take advantage, and schedule a research consultation with your personal librarian!
- E-mail -
Ask us questions at JKMRef@Chatham.edu
- Chat -
Use the chat box on the library homepage to live chat with a librarian.
You can also text a question to 724-919-4645. The bottom line is there is no excuse to not ask for help! We're here to help, so use us!
