Open Access Button
When a journal article is not immediately available in library databases, or you are prompted for payment to view an article while searching the web, you can try Open Access Button to search for a freely available copy. After downloading the extension, the "button" is placed in your browser's toolbar.
Unpaywall
Similar to Open Access Button, Unpaywall is also a browser extension that will automatically look for legal, freely available articles.
