Public vs Private Companies

Please keep in mind that it is easier to find information on public companies. Because public companies are required to file reports with the SEC, there is a lot more information out there about them.

You may still find data on private companies, but it is likely to be much more limited.

Use the search box to search for a company to find many types of information (news articles, financial deals, company profiles, etc).
Note: The Company Profiles will have the most complete information about a company. To locate just company profiles, choose "Companies" in the dropdown menu before you search.
NexisUni (formerly LexisNexis Academic) This link opens in a new window
In the bottom right corner, click on the down arrow in the box that says "Get Company Info" to open it and search for the name of your company (on the resulting page, you may have to click on View All Companies to find the right one).

Financial information for public companies. Tabs provide information on Statistics, Financials, Historical data, etc
The Cyder Market, LLC
Provides lists of cider makers and sellers. Also conducts a survey to find out general information on the cider maker market. Use with caution (site is created by a husband-wife team, unclear how reliable it is).
